Try removing the semi colon from areas shown.

in your groups.cfg you may need to add rules, but pretty sure its already there.

ie: ......getip,rules <-----add to end of line for each group

enable welcomemessages in your config (set to 1) then run and see if it shows you as masteradmin when you enter game. If it does then it will be you path to the games_mp.log

also on your admins list try remove 2 blank lines

may not have anything to do with and then again it could.

you have put the serverrules.php into the first plugins folder (one that has php files)
the serverrules.lst one then in the plugins folder in the config folder.

you then have to add these lines to your config file

[Server Rules]
enabled = 1

In your config.cfg file see if welcomemessage enable = 1

check that the path to your php file is correct.

Manu, I have had a look and tried to work it using teamviewer for him. (CrimsonDawn has done well and knows his way around the pc setup)

No matter what is put in for ip it won't recognise it. The rcon password is fine, his setup is fine.
Would the php setup cause it to fail at this point? (have even reinstalled wamp server)
Is there something on the router that needs opening?

As he stated earlier he and a fried set it up on friends machine (all same files) and it worked perfectly.

do you have a static ip or dynamic ip?
is the adminmod 0.11.4b in with the mw2 files? (ie with the main, miles, players folders etc..)

do you have teamviewer - if so let us know a time you are on and let me connect, might be best to do the setup online with you to see where problem lies.

try your external ip number in place of your internal ip.

do you have a server.cfg for the game? is the rcon the on that the same you are putting into manu.

If you !kick they only get kicked and can come back.
If you type in game !b or !ban name or part of that player will be banned.

If they come back to game they get a message "you are temporilary banned from this server" (or something similar) however the message that appears in game is "player name is permantly banned from this server" (sometimes the player will get a perman. ban meesage)

If the same named player does get back into your game they have used the xuid spoofer and will do so as this cannot be blocked. If they come back with same name yes add them to the badnames list and then they will have to adjust there name (it pisses ppl off when they have to create a new name)

The problem is there is no full security tight ban function as long as the xuid spoofer is around (also this only works for dynamic ip's)
If a person that has been banned is persistant enough they will keep coming back. Just keep banning them.

you can use the !b or !ban command, works well, it will show affected player message when they try to rejoin that they are tempbanned.

uuuhhhmmm, not sure what you are asking.

Are you temp banned or a player.
If you ban someone in game they will get a message saying they are temp banned. (they will show up in game as permanently banned)

If you a receiving this temp ban message search the ban log for your xuid in case for some reason it has been logged in there. If it shows just remove it and you should be sweet.

If you have updated the ban function then all players that get banned will stay banned, even when server gets restarted. If the banned player comes back then they are using the xuid spoofer (which tends to prove they are hackers/cheaters in most cases) then add their name to the badnames list, they will then have to change name.

This fixes the problem.

Look at using the plugin made by kosika, it bans people form MW2 and keeps them banned unless they use xuid spooler in which case add their names to badnames list.

????? don't know what you are on about with last post.

If you can copy and paste your server.cfg file here, also your manu config.cfg file and I will edit them for you. Use the spoiler buttom SP to compress it all.

goto your modern warfare folder and in it should be main folder, inside that your server.cfg file. Ope up file and add the above lines (copy and paste from above) add it anywhere and then save the file.

restart manu and see how far you get.
