Yeah (sorry that it took so long)! See first post => Version 1.2
The crash-bug is fixed. Furthermore all players will be check after !readconfig. Config file (banned_ip_ranges.txt) will be read every 3 minutes (and all players will be checked again).

Thanks. Will let you know about any more bugs if any.

Just remember: For banning only one ip there is an other plugin (ban ip plugin).

I will check the periodic refresh and readconfig functionality next week. Stay tuned.

    Any update Yenz?

If a player joins the server whose IP is present in the txt file, the mod restarts. and with the mod the server restarts.

    Happened 5 times today.

Why would you want to ban yourself if you know it works? but the internal ip is logged in ips.log.
    Like 192.168.1.x

I was just banning myself to make sure if the entries get activated with readconfig command, and they dont.
Since unbanning is just the matter of deleting one line.

Maybe only your local ip gets registered. Like 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.x not your external if that's what your trying otherwise do the opposite.

Well, with the !getip command, does the external or local IP get logged? Cause I successfully banned one player by adding his IP, which I got from !getip command, in the BanIPrange. Only thing I had to restart the mod for the added IP to take effect.

I added my own IP to the txt file and executed readconfig, but no kick, even after 3 mins.

The new IPs added to the list take effect only after restarting the mod.

    Thanks for the plugin.

So when I enter an IP, does it get banned on the fly or do I have to restart the mod or execute readconfig ?

And also the txt file is named as "banned_ip_ranges.txt.txt"
Intentional or rename to "banned_ip_ranges.txt" ?

    Hey Guys,

Is there any way to tweak the vote settings? The vote called with !vote command.

For eg if there are 20 players, the vote gets passed even with 3 yes votes. I would like to have the vote to be passed only if 50% or more of the total online players vote yes. In this case the vote should pass if minimum 10 players vote yes.

    Is it possible?

    Thanks
